Ombre Easter Egg Garland

We were giddy when we saw these perfectly colored plastic
eggs at Target.  Perfectly pastel and perfectly ombre.
Even better they were only $1 per pack.
This is pretty simple.
Arrange your eggs in the order you want them to be strung.
Make sure your eggs all face the same direction, and choose plastic
eggs that have holes in the middle.
Next take your twine, or string, and string through the holes.
Add as few or as many as you want.
We think they turned out "egg-stra" cute.
Two rows strung and hung by washi tape on the front door.
They add so much fun brightness to the door.
Instantly felt like Spring when we hung them up.l
Could Target have done any better with the colors?
We think not.

We also love our ombre plastic eggs in a large glass jar.
Easter spring up on us so fast, but thank goodness it doesn't take
much to decorate for Spring, especially with easy projects like these.

Carrot Treat Bags

Easter is hopping its way along just as
fast as we can say Easter Bunny.
We like the idea of treat bags that don't involve candy.
Don't want to get the kids too "hopped up", ha!

You will need:
Treat bags
Twine
Washi Tape
Ribbon
and white cheddar cheese puffs
{found at Sam's Club}

We found our celophane bags at Party City
10 count for .99 cents.
{they come in every color, and ship if you don't
have a Party City close}

 Freshly picked.
Simply fill your celophane bags with the cheese puffs
and tie with ribbon.  A small strip of washi tape finishes them off.

Springtime in Utah seems to be dragging its feet.
We get a few nice days then a storm,
but these treat bags are cheery and bright.
They feel like Spring.
The perfect little project to let the little ones help out with too.
So hop to it.

Hey ya'll.
It's gina from g shopping bag.

I thought it would be fun to share with you some of the fun fashion trends I have been
pinning lately. I am obsessed with Pinterest, as I'm sure all of you are.
It is a perfect spot to find some GREAT fashion tips and trends.

Here are a few of my favorite pins.

It won't be long before we will all be needing one of these...

Swimming Suit
Love, love, love this super trendy swimming suit. The colors, the print, everything about it is perfectly in style.

I found these adorable head wraps, and though I have yet to attempt them in my short hair, I just can't get over how stinkin' cute they are.
I love the hippie feel to this one.

Lots of fun ways to wear them!

Pom Pom garland

The great thing about making your own garlands is you
can custom make them for any holiday, event or party you want.
We love twine in any color.
What you will need:
Pom Poms in your choice of colors
Needle
Thread
We chose green and white for St. Patty's Day.
{We wanted more of a Kelly green but could only
 find this more limey green}
We bought them at Hobby Lobb.
I tried to thread it with my twine but my needle was too small to fit the twine through.
I think it will totally work with a bigger needle.
So I just strung mine with thread.
Thread your Poms and make sure you hit the middle.
Strung so cutely on my chalkboard.
You won't exactly need "luck" for this little project,
it will be Just Plane Easy.
So dress up your house for St. Patrick's Day
so you don't get pinched.

I made a few different strands of these in several lengths and colors.
The shorter ones I am going to string between
2 dowels for a cake topper.
This will be super quick and easy for a colorful project.

Kiss me anyway prints

We are doing an all green dinner on St. Patrick's Day,
this will be our 3rd annual one we have done.
I plan on printing these for that dinner.

These prints are sized 4x6.
They are perfect for these frames from Ikea
which we love to use for parties or dinners.
{right click to save as}
The best part is they are only .99 cents!
We love cheap accessories.
Bonus now they come in more colors.
And hey you can always spray paint them if they are
not the colors you want.
I've used them for several parties.
Used here for our luau party to mark the party favors.
Also here for my Dad's 65th golf themed Birthday Party.

We love the saying on this print.
We hope to get lots of kisses on St. Patrick's Day too.

Enjoy your prints.

Stacking Bracelets

I absolutely LOVE stacking bracelets!
It's a great way to add something cute to your everyday wardrobe without spending a lot.

The key to my bracelet stack is color and light weight.
I have seen some really cute hard bangle bracelets out there, but because I work with my hands a lot, they just drive me crazy. So, I stick with more light weight elastic or leather bracelets.
Mixing and matching the colors of your stacking bracelets is the fun part. I'm obsessed with mint and coral right now and also mixing gold and silver. Each of my bracelets represents something to me, which is also why I love wearing them. They truly are all dear to my heart for one reason or another.

You can have fun collecting your own collection or you can also buy them in groups already.
It's up to you. Anyway you do it don't be afraid to add colors together that you
wouldn't normally think of. Mix different textures and themes.
The more the bracelets the merrier and wear them with everything!

Here are a TON of cuties I found online.

Target {already grouped} $14.99

Zappos 'Wish' $18.00
this color.... swoon!!

Forever 21 'Braided Rope' $2.80

Pura Vida $20.00

Here are a few DIY ones that are fabulous too...

I'm so happy with how they turned out, Costco always does a great job.

If you ever have printed at Costco and thought your colors are a little off, here is a trick to printing at Costco online, make sure to click AutoCorrect off.

1. You will first see this screen (this screen is right after you choose which Costco you will be picking your pictures up from.  See, AutoCorrect "on"
2. Right here you will check "Do not AutoCorrect my Prints"
3. Once you have chosen AutoCorrect off, you will notice it right here.
